Finding another class of EFL student bloggers is a great idea. I'm working on finding one, but if you have time please search for some yourself, then we might decide together on who to contact in class.

I say go for it and post anything that interests you. That's the point of blogging, sharing our thoughts and opinions on things that are current or those we think are important, interesting, surprising, shocking etc.

It's nice to read your ideas on blogging, because it seems you've really made sense of it. It's not unusual that sometimes you don't feel like blogging, we're still at the beginning but practice makes perfect (or practice makes the master) and if you do it over and over again it will get much easier over time to write a post in no time :-)

You seem to know what blogging is about, but I don't really understand what you mean by saying "I know what I want to write, but I can't write it down". Could you please clarify this? You can actually write about anything you like or any thought you have in mind or anything that happened to you or anything you read/saw/watched/listened to on the internet or anywhere else. It doesn't have to be long. Blogging is a great way to record snippets of what's happening in your life. It doesn't have to be one topic, as this blog is an English learning blog in which you are free to write about whatever that comes your way.

Let's make things clear :-) this is an English language learning blog and the teacher sometimes has to tell you what to write about the same way as we do in the lessons at school :-)) The point is, however, that you're free to write about anything that comes your way besides the HW tasks :-), or if you choose a certain topic to elaborate on in your blog, that's fine as well.

First I was against it, I didn't like the idea at all, because I thought blogging is something you should want to do on your own and not when somebody tells you to and specifies the topics. But now this has changed a bit. It's quite entertaining.
It is really good in blogging that you can express your feelings and thoughts without keeping yourself to any kind of rules. Plus you can use any use of the language you like (e.g. formal, informal, swearings etc.).
My problems in blogging are that I have very little time for it and that it only has a few fonts.
My expectations for the following month are interesting topics to think and write about.
I don't really have a plan for the following month. I was just thinking about posting some stuff not in connection with school but as I said: my time limit is very short.
It seems to me you're a bit worried about the stuff you post as they it will be recorded on the internet forever. You know that you can administer who can see your blog so please do so if your worries persist and give permission to see your blog only to classmates and me. You can't delete your blog, that's true, but you can remove it from public view anytime you wish.
TörlésAnother important thing is that there are different kinds of blogs, and ours is a learning blog which supplements the lessons at school. So sometimes you get topics to write about just the same as you do in the lessons at school. It is also important to note that your learning blogs are your English learning playgrounds in which you can experiment with any topic you like or wish to.

TörlésBlogging is like a practice of speech. It's always a good spare of time to think about yourself, the world or another kind of topics. To write your thoughts down helps to memorize some important facts. You can't forget anything, because it's still on your blogging wall. You can share your ideas with the world. Personally, I don't really think about who might see anything about my own opinions. Maybe partly I write to myself. So, I'm talking with myself and I share my conversation with the "world". :)

TörlésI think blogging can be my own diary.. I saw so many blogs in the web where people write stories about their life. I can write stories here too, but something i feel like i dont know what to write down, sometimes i dont feel like i wanna write a blog. It is for people who are a little bit more unsociable, and they must to issue problems or secrets. Why in the internet they do this? maybe they wanna to share it with many people but anonymously and they wanna to show their bad doings to others to learn from it.

But if you don't have mood, that's not blogging anymore. The good thing in blogging is that you can write anything not matter the topic or the phraseology or the TIME...
On the other hand it is homework for us... somebody told me that writing is like talking but instead you run your mouth you wear your pen :) it's very good to practice English terms, phrase and of course the language...

If you read your classmates' opinion on why blogs are good for practicing English, you will have an authentic list of reasons. I know that it's quite time-consuming to write a blog in the beginning, but with practice you'll get better and better at it, believe me. You're one of the few people to say that it's interesting to read their classmates' posts, and blogging is exactly about that as well: getting to know what other people think about a topic and what interests them at the moment. It's great that you brought this up, because it seems that most of the class is focused on sharing their own ideas on various topics... You should also consider commenting on what you read in other people's blogs because it makes the blogging experience even more interesting. Hopefully, the instances when you have no idea on what to write about a topic will not only be obstacles to do the task, but an opportunity to learn something new.
